Frequently Asked Questions

We provide answers to your queries regarding becoming a Peer Path Tutor.

What are the requirements to join?

You must be a qualified primary or secondary teacher based in Western Australia with a current Working with Children Check. You will also need a reliable internet connection and the ability to show clear workings during lessons, such as a stylus and tablet.

After submitting your application and a short video introduction, you will be invited to an interview and demonstration lesson. If successful, you will complete a paid one-hour onboarding course that walks you through our platforms before you start teaching.

You set your own availability and Dan will reach out when a suitable student becomes available. You do not need to find your own clients.

Tutors are paid fortnightly on a casual basis. Pay is discussed individually based on experience. A commission is added to cover advertising, administration, and the resources and platforms we provide.

All parent communication happens through a small group chat that includes yourself and Dan. This keeps everything professional and well supported.

Holiday tutoring may be available depending on parent requests and your own availability. This is more common for ATAR students.
